Infobox relevance
[edit]Not sure how good an idea this infobox thing is here - it doesn't let you put in more than one publisher, so I've gone with the earliest, but I can't put in the UK/US differences, or, say put in the penguin or everyman release so i can include an ISBN...
Need to find a picture too JohnnyZen 10:44, 21 March 2006 (UTC)
- The intention is to focus on the 1st worldwide edition. This old there will not be an ISBN. :: Kevinalewis : (Talk Page)/(Desk) 15:20, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
1st US publisher ?
[edit]Written sources say this is George H. Doran, eg the Books of P.G. Wodehouse yet when searching for a 1st edition in AbeBooks showed only examples published by A. L. Burt purporting to be 1st editions. I have uploaded one an captioned it as the "1st US edition" but have not amended the 1st US publisher in the text nor infobox as there appears to be doubt. If someone can find an image of the 1st UK edition then that would help... GrahamHardy (talk) 19:53, 13 March 2011 (UTC)
Leave It to Psmith is also a play by P.G. Wodehouse and Ian Hay
[edit]Leave It to Psmith was also written as a play by Ian Hay and P.G. Wodehouse, published in 1932 by Samuel French Ltd., in London, New York, Manchester, Los Angeles, and Toronto. The play was written about a decade after the novel. Three original copies of it may be bought on Amazon for over $6,000 each, as of 19 April 2018. The copy I have was borrowed from the leader of our Tennessee P.G. Wodehouse Society. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mary Jane Curry (talk • contribs) 12:35, 19 April 2018 (UTC)
- The "Adaptations" section of the article already mentions the play. However, it doesn't mention the 1932 publication, so I will add that. If you are looking for an affordable copy of the play, you could try looking up Four Plays, a book with four Wodehouse plays including this one. I bought a used copy recently and it wasn't very expensive. Miles26 (talk) 17:36, 19 April 2018 (UTC)
